Black Doctor, price PLN 23.99 per bottle (0,75). Our test says about this bottle of wine (repeatability on a few bottles not tested): rating 4* – excellent, 99 PPFPP. The first great outstanding wine in my tasting, getting – however – the note “excellent” , because of lack of data (for example: vintage year).
The Black Doctor is quite famous in his semi-dry variety . Here, however , we have a dry wine, optimized with Georgian saperavi that – besides the taste – has the impact on its intense dark colour. The aroma of chocolate, vanilla and plums comes from the bottle after opening it, 3 hours after having opened the bottle this aroma disappears. The red is very dark, but does not leave marks on the walls of the glass, the liquid is clear and transparent. Its body is strong, big, round and firm , its acidity balances with tannins, there are some distant traces of sweet and chocolate, a bit in the style of Saint-Emilion and, in general, all very French . Great, so I recommend it, because it’s worth being recommended. I do not know how with its legendary medicinal properties, the same I slept very well after having drunk it.
The rating according to ” PPFPP „: 0 * – wine defective, not suitable for drinking, we do not recommend it (50-79 PPFPP), 1 * – so-so (80-85 PPFPP), 2 * – good (86-89 PPFPP), 3 * – very good (90-95 PPFPP), 4 * – excellent (96-99 PPFPP), 5 * – outstanding (100 PPFPP).
